Terms of Service

Plain and fair. What Stoic Sprout is, what it isn't, and the simple rules for using it.

These terms are an agreement between you and [Operator legal name — Seven Stack] (“we”, “us”), based in Australia, for your use of Stoic Sprout. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and a parent or guardian to hold an account. Children use Stoic Sprout under your care and supervision; the account and the subscription belong to you.

What Stoic Sprout is

Stoic Sprout is a storytelling app: short children's stories adapted from classical Stoic sources, with gentle audio and reflection. It is made to build calm and character.

What it is not

Stoic Sprout is not therapy, counselling, or medical advice, and it is not a treatment for anxiety or any condition. It is not a substitute for professional care. If your child is struggling in a way that concerns you, please speak with your GP or another qualified professional.

Your account

Keep your login details private, and let us know if you think your account has been used without your permission. You're responsible for activity under your account.

Subscriptions, billing, and cancelling

Some stories are free to try. Full access is by subscription, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown when you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time — cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Details of refunds and cancellation are on our Refunds & Cancellation page.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Using it fairly

Please use Stoic Sprout for your own family's personal, non-commercial use. Don't try to copy, resell, or redistribute the stories or audio, break the app's security, or use it in a way that harms others.

Our content

The stories, audio, artwork, and design are ours (or licensed to us). The underlying classical sources are in the public domain; our adaptations and recordings are not. Your subscription gives your family a personal licence to enjoy them, not to redistribute them.

Changes and ending

We may update the app and, occasionally, these terms; we'll post the date above and tell account-holders about significant changes. You can stop using Stoic Sprout and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that misuses the service, subject to your consumer-law rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
